The demand for green screen (chroma key) facilities is increasing as filmmakers discover the level of control it can give them, and the cost savings it can lead to. For a demonstration of what green screen work can produce, here’s a short, enlightening video from Stargate Studios.

MediaZoo has a dedicated production studio with a permanent green screen on three walls and the floor. The screen can be changed to different colours if required, and there are multiple mounted backdrop options, including a five metre-wide white colorama, black curtains and flooring, as well as blue and green coloramas that can be taken anywhere.

Studio hire includes a ceiling lighting grid and mixing desk, as well as the adjacent Creative Lounge, complete with kitchen, bathroom, multimedia and make-up / changing facilities. Here is the full kit list, all included in the standard hire rate.

The studio has been used for shoots for HBO, National Geographic Channel, the BBC and many other big names, but we also work with emerging talent on low-to-no budget productions.
